I designed this publication of infographics as a freelance subcontractor for BSA using original illustrations and some self-modified imagery to convey the data information they provided. It utilized their branding at the time.
The layout I created showcases each data point with clarity, establishing legibility and building visual interest to the viewer. My favorite small detail was creating the simplified Rupee design!
Handouts | HumRRO | Graphic Designer, on-site staff
Working with the Vice President and other researchers on staff, I would regularly create handouts showcasing their research at HumRRO. To begin, I designed these template layouts as part of our complete re-brand. Next I worked typographyically with the text they provided to create clean pieces that fit all of their information. Edits would be presented back to them to ensure everything fit. I would read the articles and obtain stock imagery from our database and other sources to coalesce with the theme of their article.
Data visualizations were created based on data or rough mock-ups that researchers provided. I would ensure that all of these fit with the look and feel of HumRRO's branding.
After final proofing, edits, and approval, these handouts would be distributed through multiple formats. I worked with our in-house print press operator to ensure the colors and quality were up to par with our standards. Digital copies were also sent to our Web Development team for inclusion on HumRRO's website.
Large-Format Posters for SIOP Conference | HumRRO | Graphic Designer, on-site staff
For the 3 following posters I worked with the team on staff who would be presenting at the annual SIOP conference. Using their exact specifications I created these data visualizations to convey their message while staying true to HumRRO's branding. These entire posters were laid out by me to communicate their message in a clean, easy to read format while adhering to HumRRO's branding.
Printing these large presentations required obtaining printer quotes and hard proofing the pieces. The hardest part though, was safely getting them into my small car on a windy day! Alas, it was a success and the team received great feedback from SIOP attendees.
